The lives of a dozen characters, both good and bad, are interlinked by one common theme – money.

When Devi regains consciousness after being in a coma for long, her friends from college come together to get her back with her lover Babu, who is in prison. As they go about the task, each one revisits his/her life, which was hugely influenced by their time in college in the 1980s.
